I'm a full-stack engineer, technology leader, problem solver, and a hopeless nerd.
I like taking things apart to understand them, then building something better. I do my best work on open-ended problems that require real research, not just execution. My focus is system architecture and the tools that come out of it: work that makes the people using them more effective, not just the systems themselves. Mentoring serves the same instinct pointed at people instead of code.
Outside of work I enjoy competitive bodybuilding, playing piano, reading that swings from philosophy to grimdark, and spending time with my family. My sidekicks Rémy and Rocky (my dog and parrot) have strong opinions about all of it. And they're usually always right.
This is my personal space, where I share my work, projects, and writing about engineering, and everything else.
